- This service can save you much grief and hundreds of thousands of dollars in time and unusable material. On a recent project the client had planned on using driven piles but after having this test done was able to determine that the soil on site was unsuitable for piles. The client then spent several months having the plans redrawn in order to accommodate a ballasted system.
